The Mission of the Saratoga Springs Youth Orchestra is:

o foster excellence in the musical arts by affording young musicians the opportunity for supervised study, rehearsal, and performance of compositions in an orchestra under the auspices and training of professional musicians.
To afford the public the opportunity to hear these performances and to educate young musicians and others interested in music so that they can appreciate the best of musical art.
We are looking for young musicians who are:
- Highly motivated excited and ready to take the next step in music career
- Willing to practice! practice! practice!
- NYSSMA levels 6 or equivalent
- Ages 14-25 who have prior music experience
We provide:
- Hands on high quality instruction in a welcoming non competitive atmosphere
- The ability to work more intensively
- Individual attention
- Opportunity for musical growth
